ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1974-1975.

HIS Excellency the Governor in Executive Council acting under the provisions of the Road Traffic Act, 1974-1975 and section 11 of the Interpretation Act, 1918-1975 has been pleased to make the regulations set out in the Schedule hereto to take effect on and from the date on which section 9 of the Road Traffic Act Amendment Act, (No. 2) 1975 comes into operation.

Principal
regulations.

1. In these regulations the Road Traffic Code, 1975 published in regulations, the Government Gazette on the 29th May, 1975 and amended from time to time thereafter by notices so published, are referred to as the principal regulations.

2. Regulation 1607 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting subregulation (3).

Reg. 1621
amended.

3. Subregulation (1) of regulation 1621 of the principal regulations is amended by substituting for the interpretation "passenger car" the following interpretation :-

"passenger car" means a motor vehicle, other than a motor cycle, constructed principally for the conveyance of persons, and includes a motor carrier other than a motorised wheel chair;
